Jacob left, Matthew rightOur twins have arrived! Jacob Charles Lingwall and Matthew Karl Lingwall were born on 8/24 at 8:24 and 8:25 am. Jacob was 7 lbs 7 oz and Matthew was 7 lbs 12 oz. That's over 15 lbs of baby!! (Great grandma still wins though!) We were hoping for a regular delivery, but ended up having them c-section. Precious Matthew just couldn't keep his head down. He flipped to breach just hours before we were scheduled for induction. Oh well. Both babies are well and healthy, so that is really all we care about. We are so happy to have them here and doing well. There is really nothing like having your arms full of babies. What a joy!

U.S.S Lexington
My little family was able to make a trip to Corpus Christi a few weeks ago and tour the U.S.S. Lexington.
It's the ship that Grandpa served on, so I thought I'd share a few pictures with everyone. I've had the opportunity to tour other retired navy ships, but knowing someone who actually served on this one made it a special experience. This is the machine shop,
and then a photo of what we could see of the engine room,
both places where Grandpa would've worked.

Also, for those of you who would like to keep up with what's going on with my little family, I have a family blog [zugnerfamily.blogspot.com] that you're more than welcome to peek in on.

Lee's Family Gets a New Member
Lee and Denise and their family get to host another exchange student this year. We loved having Lylia last year so we did it again - this time we have a daughter named Philina, who is from Germany.
Shauna, Jacob and Matt were able to come with us to get her, and even McKayla came, too.
We all really like her and hope she gets to feel a part of the family real soon!

Robert's Family Visits Grandma
It's Hammock Time
We got a few new hammocks from Lylia, our exchange daughter, and we put them up in the back yard but we didn't have enough trees to string them between sooooo ... Lee acted as a post and held up one end. Now we can all relax in our own backyard as long as dad is home! Ha ha!
